Florida Scenic Highways & Byways

Often times Florida Scenic Highways will be referred to as “byways” or “highways.” On this site, those terms are interchangeable. We use the word “byway” more often, because it brings to mind the road less traveled, and full of stories. Please see the Florida Scenic Highways Program Overview for more info about what makes a Florida Scenic Highway (or byway).
